All Things Burn

Posted on: April 16th, 2019 by Alden

A prayer after the fire at Paris’s Notre-Dame Cathedral. And here’s a prayer to be said “For Firefighters.”

All Things Burn
All things burn,
Are buried in rubble,
Or extinguished in a torrent,
Even our hearts,
Except, perhaps, when love
Rises like a spire between us.

Pray for healing.
For Paris.
For all who burn with sorrow.
